Our Policy’s Purpose
Protect the below characteristics, in line with the Equality Act 2010, from unlawful discrimination at our workplace, such as:

Oppose and avoid all forms of unlawful discrimination in our employment practices, such as:

- Terms and conditions of employment
- Selection for employment, promotion, training or other developmental opportunities
- Dealing with grievances and discipline
- Dismissal
- Redundancy
- Leave for parents
- Requests for flexible working
Provide equality, fairness and respect for all in our employment, whether temporary, part-time or full-time, freelancer, contractor etc.
Raise awareness amongst our team in order to prevent discrimination, bias, unconscious bias and prejudice against protected characteristics.

Who Does This Policy Apply To?
This policy applies at all times and should influence the way we treat individuals whether they be colleagues, clients or business contacts. The policy impacts on everyday behaviour, the employment practices set out above and the way we go about our business. The policy also applies to all suppliers that are commissioned through the supply chain.
All staff should understand that they, as well as their employer, can be held liable for acts of unlawful discrimination, bullying, harassment and victimisation, in the course of their employment, against fellow employees, customers, suppliers and the public.
Our Commitments
Respect human rights and believe that diversity benefits and adds value to our business. A diverse workforce helps to stimulate creativity and innovation through the introduction of fresh thinking and approaches.
Provide equal opportunities to all employees, including protected characteristics.
We will not tolerate any employment practices (in reference to those listed above), attitudes or behaviour that may amount to unfair discrimination. This includes unfair employment practices, harassment, victimisation and bullying through bias, unconscious bias, prejudice, ignorance or stereotyping against any protected characteristics.
Review employment practices and procedures when necessary to ensure fairness, and that they don’t support unlawful discrimination in areas set out above. We will also update practices and the policy to take account of changes in the law.
Make decisions concerning staff being based on merit (apart from any necessary and limited exemptions and exceptions allowed under the Equality Act 2010).
Make opportunities for training, development and progress available to all staff, who will be helped and encouraged to develop their full potential, so their talents and resources can be fully utilised to maximise the efficiency of the organisation.
Monitor the make-up of the workforce regarding the protected characteristics to ensure that the workforce is diverse.
We commit that all of our work, including digital marketing and website design, continue to be fair and honest. We continue to promote diversity and equality, taking great care that everything we produce and post is respectful, fair, non-discriminate, inclusive and non-biased, regardless of the characteristics set out above. We will apply and promote these digital marketing and website design practices to all of our customers, and discontinue working with customers who are aligned with these policies.
We are also committed to creating an environment that is free from any harassment, bullying and victimisation. All allegations of inappropriate behaviour will be challenged, investigated and dealt with accordingly, as set out in our Sexual Harassment, Anty-Bullying and Anti-Harassment Policies.
We commit to hosting training for managers and all other employees about their rights and responsibilities under the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy. Responsibilities include staff conducting themselves to help the organisation provide equal opportunities in employment, and prevent bullying, harassment, victimisation and unlawful discrimination.

Our Disciplinary & Grievance Procedures
Details of the organisation’s grievance and disciplinary policies and procedures can be found in the Employee Handbook. This includes with whom a team member should raise a grievance.
Use of the organisation’s grievance or disciplinary procedures does not affect a team member’s right to make a claim to an employment tribunal within three months of the alleged discrimination.
